816 ANTI-TOBACCO CAMPAIGN: Street Play in Bandra (West)

Mumbai, 12-Oct-2019: The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS), Mumbai organized a Street play to educate people on the harmful effects of tobacco. The street paly was held in Lalmati slum in Bandra (West) held under the aegis of ‘MGL Disha Project’ supported by Mahanagar Gas Limited.

The street play was presented by ABCD theatre group from Bhandup. The objective of the street play was to educate people on the harmful effects of tobacco and to abstain people from consuming tobacco. More than 100 children, men and women from the slum participated in this event. They carried flashcards with information on harmful effects of tobacco and also spoke to people. Ms. Kavita Kamble (Staff- DBDS) made the logistical arrangement for this event.
