Salawad (Kota – Rajasthan), 03-Jan-2020:
The Don Bosco Development Society (DBDS) through one of its implementing partner i.e. Don Bosco Salawad is successfully running a village education project in 10 nearby villages for the extremely poor children of stone-quarry workers and farmers. This project benefits more than 300 kids and is completely supported by van Ameringen Foundation.

Fr Rolvin D’Mello (Executive Director – DBDS) during his visit to this project, thanked van Ameringen Foundation for its support – he also placed on record his sincere thanks to Mr Clarence and Salesian Missions (New Rochelle – USA) for their support. The project is successfully running since July 2019 and is aimed at helping the kids in not just coping-up with their academic studies but also in their holistic development.

Fr Gregory D’Cunha (project director) along with Mr Suresh Verma (project coordinator) regularly visit the project and monitor all the activities. Speaking on the occasion Fr D’Cunha encouraged the students to study well and wished the kids a bright future.
